the next couple of posts include furniture that belongs to sisters. each sister has some of their grandma's furniture. andrea is the first sister. she was so sweet and fun to work with.

remember micahl's dressser? well, she had a table and chairs, too...

problem: love that table and chairs, not so much with the current finish

solution: pull colors from inspiration painting, and refinish table and chairs

solution: add some chandeliers, complete with actual crystals, and glaze cabinets to complete her purple palace

 i actually came back and added small crystals to the "drops" on the bottom of the chandelier, but i forgot to take pics of the addition...

 we decided to glaze the cabinets while we were at it...

apparently, i'm in a blue mood this week. this post and this post are both predominantly blue in color scheme. so, thought i'd finish off with another blue post...

i thought this room would be really neat to post after yesterday's post. these rooms are similar and color and over all idea, but totally different in execution. while yesterday's client wanted warmth, texture and a blend of traditional and modern, today's client wanted modern and streamlined...they asked for an almost chalk like effect.
